Staff Change Notice
It is my pleasure to welcome Kari Kjome to the full-time staff at CMC. She has officially taken over for Kelly Bechtell as CMC Registrar. Kelly recently stepped down after 5 years at the front desk, and we thank him for his excellent service to the CMC community. Kari has a strong background in music – teaching, administration & performance – and in customer service. She has worked in the office at CMC for 3 years already, and also for PP&R’s Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation program as an inclusion assistant. Before then, Kari was director and instructor of a music program, and box office manager and volunteer coordinator at a theatre (both in Minneapolis). She has experience in percussion, piano, violin, guitar, band, choir, and orchestra. We hope you can all congratulate and welcome Kari to her new role. She’ll be of great service to the students, parents, teachers and volunteers at the Center.

Music is a great way to have fun and relax in the summer, no matter your age or ability level. We are now taking registrations for all CMC summer 2014 programs, so check out our cool catalogs (downloadable PDF or Online) and join in! Register online for call us at - 503-823-3177. Note: Continuing/returning students from Spring 2014: there is no automatic enrollment for Summer Term - everyone re-enrolls.

Summer term lessons & classes: July 7 - Aug. 30
Reminders for current students:
- Register for Summer Term (not automatic - everyone needs to re-enroll)
- Pay outstanding balance
- Turn in or pay instrument rental
- Have a harmonious summer!
Making Musicians Festival 2014

Over 35 concerts have been performed by hundreds of students for thousands of attendees. It all concludes June 15, but it is never too late to support our students and donate to the scholarship fund.
