"Save on Spectacular Sunday Passes to Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival

Sunday, July 6, 2014
Tom McCall Waterfront Park

Join us for what is sure to be Portland's finest one-day concert lineup of the summer: Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival’s Spectacular Sunday, July 6!

You'll see pop legend Boz Scaggs return to his roots in Memphis soul and blues; the hard-grooving neo- soul man Lee Fields & the Impressions; New Orleans' premier funksters, Ivan Neville's Dumpstaphunk; Zydeco dancing all day on the Oregonian Front Porch Stage with Louisiana's  Horace Trahan & the Ossun Express, Yvette Langley and Nathan & the Zydeco Cha Chas; pop songstress Joan Osborne teams up with her early mentors, the award-winning gospel trio The Holmes Brothers; Portland's 'Best New Band', Ural Thomas & the Pain; and closing the festival, the Gregg Allman Band, featuring the phenomenal Portland-bred saxophonist Jay Collins.

Sunday’s lineup is so spectacular you’ll need a pass to get in. We are offering music students an exclusive deal on passes, normally $50, to see the show. For a minimum donation of just $5 (or more, all of it to benefit Oregon Food Bank), you can purchase Spectacular Sunday-only passes when you use the promo code Music5.

And of course you can attend the other three days of the festival July 3-5 — featuring Los Lobos, Los Lonely Boys, Charlie Musselwhite, Maceo Parker, Bombino, Lil' Ed & the Blues Imperials, July Fourth Fireworks, swing dance lessons and competitions, blues workshops and much more — for a suggested daily donation of just $10.

We hope to see you at the festival!
