Free Concerts & Important News in March

Play Bill
Treasured Portland pianist and musical collaborator William Crane celebrates his 60th birthday by performing 7 concerts in 7 days at locations throughout the metro area. The March 1 program at CMC features PYP conductor David Hattner on Clarinet and Lisa Mooyman, soprano, offering Schubert's sublime "Shepard on the Rock" and other classical gems. Free (donations suggested) 6:00 - 7:00 pm. No tickets required.

Program Notices for all CMC Students
Winter Term ends on Monday, March 19 for group classes and Monday, March 26 for shared/private lessons. Make up week for group classes is March 20 - 26 (your teacher will tell you if you are getting a make-up).
Spring Term begins on Monday, April 2. Most students are automatically rolled over to spring term with tuition due the first week of Spring Term. Students not continuing need to inform the CMC office before the end of winter term. Those NOT rolled over are early childhood music classes, piano for seniors, and Make Music PDX.
Summer Term catalog hits the streets in early April, with registration begining April 9.
Paper Cuts
To save money and resources, we will significantly reduce our mailing in summer 2012 and entirely eliminate batch mailing our catalogs starting this fall. We don't want to lose you, so please make sure we have your updated e-mail address!
Alumni News
Brandon Garbot (formerly a pupil of Clarisse Atcherson) performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. in February, representing students of the Cleveland Institute of Music. Here's the video! (Brandon plays first after the speeches).
