Students Sweep Scholarships

The Oregon Chapter of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA) holds local, annual scholarship award competitions for school-age students, and this January 3 of the four winners were CMC students.  Ardon Lee won first place, earning $500 towards lessons. Aaron Boscanin (not currently at CMC) took the second spot, and Ermina Lee and Isabel Dammann tied for third, receiving $100 each.

The dedicated instructor/members of ASTA raise money each year for scholarship support to students and educational events such as master classes.  For more info, visit their web site.
