Classical Revolution PDX returns January 25

Warm your winter spirits with a lively presentation by Portland's renowned Classical advocates.  This is not your grandparents' chamber concert!  The program is a secret, but the concert details are no surprise: Friday, Jan. 25 at 7:15 pm, free admission (suggested donation $5 per person or $15 for family any size), house opens about 6:45.  See our concert calendar for all CMC public events.

Beethoven Benefit Event Feb. 10

Give it up for the critically-acclaimed Oregon String Quartet

Enjoy a rare concert of three Beethoven quartets and help CMC reach those who couldn't otherwise afford music lessons.  The resident ensemble of string Profs at U of O are donating their services for this fundraiser on Sunday afternoon, February 10, at 2:00 pm, here at CMC.  Advance ticket purchase highly recommended.  See the event website for more details.

Join the growing community of people who like a hit when they hear it

The next Drum Circle - Family & Friends is on Saturday afternoon, February 2nd, from 3:00 to 4:15 pm, at CMC.  Enroll early to assure a seat at this affordable multi-generational activity for ages 3 and up. Call 503-823-3177.

On Friday, February 8, Chamber Music Northwest hosts recorder virtuoso Michala Petri and Friends, and CMC students and parents are invited to attend.  Just put your name on the list in the CMC lobby (no phone calls, please) by Saturday, Feb. 2.  Limited supply, so sign up today!  Restrictions apply.  Note: if you reserve 'em, use 'em or return 'em.  See the CMNW website for full concert details.

Watch your kids take the spotlight and shine

Announcing CMC's annual Summer Chamber Music Program, July 15 - 27.  This is CMC's highest level activity for young string, wind, and piano players, combining in-depth chamber group experience with our Concertante Orchestra.   See our full details, then contact us for an audition.  More summer activities will be announced in our Spring Newsletter in March.
